I am committed to helping children during their early elementary years in ways that affirm and assist them in learning. When children have a happy and productive experience in school they can avoid a downward spiral leading to failure and discouragement. It is important that teachers be empathetic and compassionate with students realizing that children are both gifted and limited in individual ways. A classroom should allow for individual creativity and excitement on the part of faculty and students. I want to be infomed and sensitive to students abilities and learning styles. Each child's needs should be addressed on an individual basis.
